Any and all medical care that is necessary to cure and relieve the effects of injuries caused by on the job injury will be paid by your employer, subject to approved medical guidelines. Treatment can consist of physical therapy, chiropractic manipulation and/or surgery, again subject to Utilization Review and approval by the Courts.

Having a pre-designated physician is key. Advise your employer in writing that, if injured on the job, you wish to be treated by a pre-designated physician. The pre-designated physician must have examined you and have a record of you prior to being designated. If you have not pre-designated a treating doctor, your employer can require you to see a company-appointed doctor at the beginning of your treatment and ca control that treatment through the Medical Provider Network.
